Walking into the sea

Walking into the sea small

An experiment in visual narrative, and a true story. Go walk in the sea, kids. Your soul will thank you. Go alone so you don’t have to perform for anyone. Meet the sea on your own terms. Don’t dress up for it. You don’t need a bathing suit, just roll your trousers up good and tight. Embrace the cold. Take as long as you need. And when you’re done, take home sockfuls of sand like secret treasures, so for the rest of the day you can wiggle your toes and remember you’re the sort of person who walks in the sea.

Materials: Ink pens. Coloured in GIMP.
